1. What Services Do You Offer?

Please Note: These services are offered as-is and come with no guarantee whatsoever. The payment is for the time required to load and test the maps on the MicroSD card you supply (or I do), and postage and packing, not for the maps themselves, which are FREE.

If you are interested in this service, or for a similar service for maps for other areas of the world, supplied on a MicroSD card, or want them shipped to an address outside the UK, then then please contact me via the email address that can be found here to discuss your requirements and cost. I also now have many happy customers that I have done this for, with no failures to date.

Please ensure that your Garmin GPSr has a MicroSD or SD slot before requesting any of the above offered services. Only Garmin GPSrs are supported, sorry.

A1. You supply the MicroSD or SD[1] card (one off) - Order Code A-1U

This will require that you send me your MicroSD/SD card [suggest a 2GB one]. I will then install the required mapset onto the card and test that it works on my Garmin Oregon 200 [unless it is an SD card] and then return the loaded and tested MicroSD/SD card to you. That is all I will be able to test. If it works fine on my GPSr during testing, chances are it will work fine on yours when you get it back and insert it into your Garmin GPSr.


A2. You supply the MicroSD or SD[1] card (four updates) - Order Code A-4U

This will require that you send me your MicroSD/SD card [suggest a 2GB one]. I will then install the required mapset onto the card and test that it works on my Garmin Oregon 200 [unless it is an SD card] and then return the loaded and tested MicroSD/SD card to you. That is all I will be able to test. If it works fine on my GPSr during testing, chances are it will work fine on yours when you get it back and insert it into your Garmin GPSr.

This means that you effectively get four updates to your own MicroSD/SD card for the price of three. There is no time restraint on this service. It could be once a month, once every two months, once a quarter, once every six months; anyway you want. Just up to a maximum of four updates for a one off price. 


B1. I supply a pre-loaded 2GB MicroSD or SD[1] card - Order Code B-SD

I can supply a 2GB MicroSD card with MicroSD to SD adapter[*] pre-loaded with the latest UK/Ireland Contours Mapset (at the time of ordering). This  includes a pre-loaded 2GB MicroSD card with MicroSD to SD adapter (branded name[2]) and postage and packing. 

The charge is for the 2GB MicroSD card with MicroSD to SD adapter[*], the time required to copy and test the maps on the MicroSD/SD card and for postage and packing, not for the maps themselves, which are FREE.

B2. I supply a pre-loaded 2GB MicroSD or SD[1] card and 3 updates - Order Code B-SDU3

Same a B1, but with 3 further updates to the supplied card (you'll need to return it to me to be updated).

This will require that you send me back the supplied MicroSD/SD card. I will then upgrade the required mapset onto the card and test that it works on my Garmin Oregon 200 [unless it is an SD card] and then return the loaded and tested MicroSD/SD card to you. That is all I will be able to test. If it works fine on my GPSr during testing, chances are it will work fine on yours when you get it back and insert it into your Garmin GPSr.

The charge is for the initial supply of the latest UK mapset on a 2GB MicroSD card with MicroSD to SD adapter which I supply, and three further updates of this card[*], the time required to copy and test the maps on the MicroSD/SD card and for postage and packing, not for the maps themselves, which are FREE. 

This means that you effectively get three further updates to the supplied MicroSD/SD card for the price of two, plus a little extra to cover the extra postal costs. There is no time restraint on this service. It could be once a month, once every two months, once a quarter, once every six months; anyway you want. Just up to a maximum of three further updates for a one off price as well as the original 2GB MicroSD/SD card I supply loaded with the latest UK mapset at the time of ordering.

[*] I can't always supply a MicroSD to SD adapter as they are now harder to get with a MicroSD card. Only those GPSrs that require SD cards will be supplied with either an SD card or a MicroSD card with the adapter. If I get them supplied with a MicroSD card I will include them in the delivery.

[1] Please specify which Garmin GPSr Model you wish to use the card with at the time of requesting any of the services offered here.
Garmin Edge 605/705, Legend/Vista Hcx, Oregon, Dakota 20, GPSMap60Cx and Csx all use MicroSD only, the Colorado uses SD cards only (or MicroSD in a MicroSD to SD adapter).
[2] The cards I purchase are usually Kingston with an RRP of £39.99, so you are getting the MicroSD card, pre-loaded with the latest mapset, tested and postage and packing for less than the current RRP of just the MicroSD card.


2. How Do I Pay You?

The simplest way is to use the Donate button, which can be found at the foot of all the main pages on this site. Then fill out the amount you wish to donate or pay me for the services I offer.   

You don't have to have a PayPal account to pay via PayPal, all you need is to have a valid Debit/Credit card.

Otherwise, if you have a verified PayPal account, simply go to the main PayPal site, log in, and then click on the Send Money tab and fill out the form as seen below in the example screenshot (assuming you are buying a pre-loaded 4GB MicroSD card with MicroSD to SD adapter or just the pre-loaded 4GB MicroSD card, if you are the price is currently 20 UK Pounds).

Please make sure you type my email address correctly as otherwise I won't get notified and you'll end up paying someone else by mistake. If in doubt use the donate button instead as this will pre-fill the correct email address.
